ANOTHER TASTE OF THE GREENWAY”

HIKE

    A five to six-hour celebration hike from Pisgah State Park to Keene along The Keene Connector of the Wantastiquet-Monadnock Greenway through the beautiful, preserved California Brook Natural Area and Horatio Colony Preserve.
 
*Meet at 10:00AM at the Horatio Colony Preserve on Daniel’s Hill Road.
*Bring water and lunch and be prepared for moderately strenuous and occasionally muddy trails.
  *Join for a celebratory dinner at Lucas in Keene for $25.00 a person following the hike.
*Leave your car at the Horatio Colony Preserve; bus transportation will be provided to the Beal’s Trail Head in Pisgah.

*A shorter hike or just dinner can be arranged!

Horatio Colony Preserve: From Keene, follow Rte. 9 West for 1.5 miles from the junction of Rts. 9, 10 & 12 through one set of lights. Turn left onto Daniel's Hill Rd. (.5 miles at Base Hill Rd.). The parking lot is .2 miles uphill on the left.
